This loss was due to an old leak under the sink from the upstairs unit, which affected the walls and cabinets. There was visible mold growth, so we set up our containment barrier and removed the affected materials and disinfected the kitchen to prepare for repairs. The framing was in really bad condition and needed work done to it. In the end, we finished our mitigation work and the kitchen was ready to be put back together.
